PALESTINE AND THE GAZA WAR:
I believe this is a humanitarian issue of catastrophic proportion and injustice that is being masked by politics and international allegiances. How do we justify the killing of more than 30,000 people in a mere five months, with the equivalent force of two nuclear bombs dropped on a tiny area of 141 square miles; a denial of food, water, shelter and medical treatment to over two million people; the destruction of their homes, cities, crops, animals, and entire infrastructure; the physical and psychological warfare imposed on them more deadly than any other in modern history? It is unjustifiable. It is the lowest point in humanity since World War II, it is a stain on the world’s conscience forever. It is no different to the last Holocaust except it is worse because we are watching this one live-streamed into our homes every day like a reality show and we can’t say we didn’t know.
I wrote and released this song in November 2023 in reaction to the already horrific war on Gaza which the Israeli regime and the USA tried to justify by saying that they were targeting Hamas. But the people being killed were not Hamas. And the people being killed five months later are not Hamas. This is my song, “I Am Not Hamas - Song for Gaza”. All proceeds are donated to humanitarian aid and animal rescue in Gaza. The song is available on all platforms and my website:

Consider helping Palestine and the people in Gaza by calling for an immediate permanent ceasefire, the immediate and effective delivery of massive humanitarian aid to Gaza, an end to the occupation in Palestine, a cessation of military aid to Israel, and the reinstatement of funding to UNRWA. Donations to the following are urgently needed:
UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees)
PCRF (Palestine Children's Relief Fund)
HORSE RACING:
I oppose Horse Racing and breeding horses for racing. I stand in solidarity with those who are striving to end the Horse Racing industry. To find out what happens to the unfortunate horses brought into this cruel, gambling industry, visit http://www.horseracingwrongs.org.
ANIMAL ABUSE AND CAPTIVITY
Animals are suffering in captivity all over the world, particularly in zoos, circuses, and laboratories. The following are some of the organizations that protect animals in the wild or provide sanctuaries:

SUDAN/DARFUR:
The Darfur genocide claimed the lives of more than 300,000 civilians, forced 1.6 million internally displaced people to flee their homes and a further 600,000 refugees to spill across borders of neighbouring countries. War erupted again in Sudan in April 2023. According to the United Nations, nearly 25 million people need aid, and nearly five million people in Sudan could suffer catastrophic hunger in 2024.

SUICIDE PREVENTION:
Every 40 seconds approximately one death by suicide occurs worldwide. Suicide was the second leading cause of death in ages 15 - 29 globally in 2012.* To help prevent suicide and reduce the stigma about depression, suicide and mental disorders, there are some useful links below. If you or someone you are with is in immediate danger of harming themselves, in the USA, call 911. GLOBAL EPIDEMICS AND MEDICAL CRISES:
The 2014 Ebola virus devastated Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, including thousands of orphaned children, but most of the rest of the world did not provide aid. This global apathy occurred because Ebola did not affect every country, and in particular, not wealthy countries. Now, with the COVID-19 virus, people with the lowest incomes are again impacted, but all over the world. To help, wear a mask, and consider donating to:
http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org. Doctors Without Borders provides help “worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care.”
http://www.unicef.org “UNICEF is a leading humanitarian and development agency working globally for the rights of every child.”
http://www.one.org “ONE is an advocacy organization taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa.”
